11. What most stops us
from changing?
- Our belief that we can’t change. We believe that change is possible. We believe that others can change, but we don’t believe that we can. We then create a story to hide why we can’t change.
- We don’t want to change. Our current condition serves us in a way that we value more or fear less than the changed state. We then create a story to hide why we can’t change.
- We tell ourselves that we don’t know how to change. This is a story that we create to hide the truth.
- We simply don’t use the tools for change that we know. Buried deep in a neural pattern or equation, there is a reason why you don’t have what you want.
But there are always reasons. They can always be solved.
