Discover what has been No one is meant to live in pain — No one. Everyone is meant to live in joy and ecstasy — Everyone. In order to do this, you must create the toward vision, or state, for yourself and train yourself to move in that direction. There are only two directions we move in life. We either move toward what we want or we move away from what we don’t want. This is called toward or away motivation – pleasure or pain. We seek to avoid what we don’t want, or more importantly, we seek less of what we don’t want. Take a moment and feel this – it is profound to understanding why you are where you are in life. The problem with away motivation is that people train themselves to be in pain. They sit and sit and stay in a bad job or a bad relationship and create stories as to why they are there. When they can’t take it anymore, what direction do they go? Any direction! Any place will be less painful – a new job, a new spouse, a new location. And, they will record this as a good move because they are in less pain. But the truth is all that they have accomplished is to train themselves to tolerate pain and to reinforce that they can’t have – or don’t deserve to have – what they really want from life. We understand that immediately releasing a hot stove is smart, yet, repeatedly, many will hold on to an “emotional” hot stove and brag about their ability to tolerate what is happening in their lives. Pain is a sign that you are doing something wrong. If you are in pain, you should be solving the problem. Create the toward vision/state for yourself and train yourself to move in that direction. Learn how to do this. Discover what has been holding you back. This is a science. Learn the science. Practice and use the tools. You will have success.
